COMPANY PROFILE

AustCold is an engineering company who design, manufacture, supply and commission purpose built equipment skids for PROCESS REFRIGERATION and GAS COMPRESSION applications. We are skilled and experienced in providing units that are technically complex and incorporate extensive control systems. In particular, we have significant expertise with units operating in hazardous areas.

In our modern 2000m² factory we fabricate, assemble and test as required the equipment skids that are fully wired and piped for shipment in containers to your site in a finished condition. This enables us to control quality, reduce cost and deliver on time.

Experience has taught us that good design concepts lead to system efficiency and cost savings. By combining these with manufacturing and management expertise within the one location, we are able to offer our customers assured quality at a competitive price.

AustCold is 100% Australian owned and financially strong. We bank and arrange performance bonds with the National Australia Bank.

APPLICATIONS

AustCold serve the process, energy, oil, gas and petrochemical markets in Australia and Internationally.

Applications for our equipment are mainly in the fields of:

• Ammonia fertilizer plants

• Liquefied gas storage - NH₃, ethylene and butane

• Natural gas processing for dew point control

• Glycol or water chilling in the process and petrochemical industries

• Mine cooling

• Gas compression for co-generation and process applications

SCREW COMPRESSORS

AustCold has been packaging and servicing screw compressors for over thirty years. Screw compressors have become the industry standard for long life, easy servicing and reliability. We have many respected manufacturers' equipment in the field such as Howden, Mycom and Aerzener.

The staff, managers and directors of AustCold are highly skilled and motivated to provide our customers with effective service and excellent products. Because we specialise in our particular field of engineering, we are able to offer a wealth of knowledge which is critical to the provision of reliable and high quality equipment and systems. Our strong background in ammonia refrigeration is a significant benefit to our customers.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

AustCold design, manufacture and commission our equipment skids and take responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the units.

Quality Assurance similar to ISO 9001 is applied on contracts at the specified level. We are experienced and comfortable with providing this optional service and the additional documentation requirement.

We are experienced in the supply and commissioning of our equipment in the following regions.
